It is effective against a wide range of gram +ve and gram -ve bacteria which includes E.coli, Klebseilla Pneumoniae, Proteus Species, Salmonella Species, Staphylococci and Streptococci. JF AMOXY L A is suitable for the control of infections, due to susceptible microorganisms, where a single injection giving prolonged activity is required. It may also protect from secondary bacterial invasion by sensitive organisms in cases where bacteria are not the initial cause of the disease. INDICATIONS Amoxycillin has increased ability to diffuse through biological tissues in the infections of Alimentary tract, Respiratory tract, skin and soft tissues and urogenital tract. It leads to an increase in concentration at tissue sites and Increased penetration of the bacterial cell wall. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: By intra muscular/subcutaneous injection at a dose rate of 1ml/10kg body weight, repeatable if necessary after 48 hours. If dose volume exceeds 20ml, it should be divided into two sites. Large animals: 1ml/10kg bodyweight. Shake the vial before use.
